Meeting Agenda

Officers
Since Bob Butler (president) and John Wright (treasurer) are looking to be replaced, the league needs an individual to set in to these two positions.

Treasurer's Report: John Wright
John passed out the financial report for December 31, 2010.   Balance as of 12/31/2009: $ 1,490.53; Ending Balance as of 12/31/2010: $ 1,476.73

League/Team Fees
The board voted on reducing the "Team Fee" to $ 40 per team.   The community fee of $ 25 will remain the same.

League Reports
10 & Under: there will be a possibility of 6 teams this year.
The board also discussed having community clinics for this age group.   Each week a participating community will host a softball clinic.  The league will also continue with their regular season games.   Volunteers from the local high schools, and experienced coaches will provide the instruction to both players, and to interested coaches.

Bill Pangallo also suggested that for developing pitchers, that they be allowed to start their pitch from the "L" position, instead of the entire windmill motion.

The rules for the 2011 Spring season will also be reviewed.   A different set of rules were used in the fall season.

12 & Under: The board discussed opening up the community clinics to the 12 & under players as well, and add Bill's suggestion of developing pitchers to start from the "L" position.

15 & Under: League should again be well represented.

18 & Under: Possible 6 teams
